If you were looking for this edition on the first, I apologize. I thought it would be best to let the holiday excitement pass before launching our new series.We'll be talking about your beliefs and healing. We'll look at 10 beliefs that can limit your self-healing ability and how to shift them to more positive beliefs. Truth be told, many of these beliefs also apply to how we limit ourselves in other ways as well. So even though our topic will focus on health and healing, see what happens when you change some of the key words in each belief to fit topics of success, money, relationships, etc... The beliefs I'll be sharing with you are very common. Some of them you'll be aware of consciously. Others you may not even know you have. I'm sure there's many more - if you think of a really important one, send me a note telling me about it. The idea with this series isn't to provide a totally comprehensive list, but to get us thinking about our thinking and to become more aware of how conscious beliefs and subconscious programming influence our ability to heal and get what we want. Some of these are real eye-openers. Alright, I'm going to leave you to reading while I entertain my grandsons who are visiting for the week. Now's the time to advantage of the beautiful summer weather. Get outside for fresh air, exercise and fun.
Let your bare skin touch the earth or unsealed concrete to connect with its energy and for healthful grounding. David Wolfe shared in his talk at the Wellness Summit that you should ground at least 30 minutes a day and much more if you're ill. This helps you discharge static electricity and throw off EMF waves. It helps your body remineralize and receive health promoting negative ions from the earth. Other ways to ground - use a grounding mat, touch a living tree with you bare hands, take a bath, shower, or go swimming.
