Energy Healing Techniques
In part one, you learned simple and effective energy healing techniques to use for yourself and others. You learned how to feel energy, create an energy ball and clear the field. The next energy healing technique is useful for working on a specific area. Keep in mind, however, that energy goes where it will. You can offer it to one place, but it may go where it is needed more.
Hands-On Technique
Rub your hands together and set your intention to facilitate healing and offer energy. Sandwich the affected part gently between your two hands. If this isn't possible, put your hands side by side. It's also fine to keep your hands a few inches away from the body. Breathe into your heart area and on the out-breath direct the energy down your arms and through your hands. Do not force it. Just allow the energy to be accepted and assimilated. Keep up this breathing and sending until you feel like you are done or the person has had enough. Some healers simply keep their hands on someone's shoulders or feet while offering energy. This works too. Putting your hands gently on the feet and setting the intention for grounding is very relaxing and a nice way to start and/or finish a subtle energy healing session.
Self Healing Energy Techniques
There's a lot more to energy healing than specific subtle energy techniques. All of these methods help you move energy and balance your system. Follow the links for videos and directions for each exercise. Chakra meditations are an important part of any self healing energy program. These are primary energy centers that extend from the body all the way through the field. Once you have developed the ability to sense energy you can feel these centers, especially the heart chakra which has the strongest electromagnetic field in the body. Healers often meditate on these centers to facilitate their own healing and self-growth. I would encourage you to do the same as you learn energy healing for yourself. Chi Gong is an ancient and revered form of Chinese healing energy work. To help relieve health damaging stress, try out chi gong exercises for stress-relief here. Meridian Therapy is an important part of a self healing energy program. It supports the flow of energy through the energy channels in the body. Try the "Zip Up" exercise to strengthen your central meridian. It only takes a few seconds and is a great 'pick me up'.
