Invitation to join our midlifers on a mission community
March 23, 2021
Hello Friends, Happy March :)
I have a special invitation for you.
Are you a midlifer (or beyond) longing to live a healthy, fulfilling, purposeful life aligned with your vision and values? Are you eager and excited to make the rest of your life the best of your life?
If so, I invite you to join my brand new interactive Facebook community called Midlifers on a Mission. Starting this group has been a dream of mine for a while, and now here it is...
I’ll be doing the first in our series of weekly live trainings on healthy habits and self-care this Monday (March 22) at 11 am. In this series, I’ll be sharing strategies, tips, and tools to make it easier to take better care of yourself.
In addition, I’ll be sharing additional tips and insights with you throughout the week, offering support, and encouraging participation. It is my intention that we share our collective wisdom and uplift each other in the container of a safe, engaging, nurturing
community that fosters well-being in mind, body, and spirit.
The Healing Power of Love
Can you relate to this expression? "The times they are 'a crazy'” Right? It seems like there has been so much going on that fuels stress and anxiety-producing uncertainty and polarization. While there may not be a sure-fire way to guarantee the certain future we want, there is an antidote that can cure the the uptick in intolerance and aggression toward people with belief systems different from one’s own.
As corny as this may sound, that remedy is Love, the core frequency of the heart and soul. Now, I’m not just talking about affection or the conditional acceptance of another. I’m talking about agape love, the great healer of mind, spirit, and sometimes body.
Accessing this energy of love within is a decision, a commitment that has to be made again and again. It is not a state most humans can maintain for very long, but it is one we can choose at will. Through its grace and power, we bring healing to ourselves and the world. You know you’re experiencing agape when you forgive, amicably agree to disagree, show compassion, kindness, gratitude, and patience without ego-driven agendas. You are shining your light from your pure, authentic Self. There is a feeling to it that just doesn’t have words.

Radiate LoveThe folks at HeartMath have asked us to broadcast love into the environment, or Field for a few moments throughout the day. The intention is to collectively radiate love to others in order to help raise the heart vibration of humanity and reduce collective stress. See this article for details and a video.
Like all good things, sending love while practicing heart-brain coherence benefits both giver and receiver. This practice induces feelings of peace, relaxation, and healing. It promotes harmony and lifts our perceptions above separation. By tapping into the power of the heart, we become more resilient and gain more access to our intuitive guidance system so we can make more effective choices, especially in times of chaos and change.
Syncing your heart and brain is quick and easy once you get the hang of it. It is a skill well-worth learning and using often to calm and center yourself, for accessing heart intelligence, and for sending love.
I enjoy combining this process with metta, the loving-kindness meditation. I say this metta for you now.
May you be blessed.
May you be happy,
may you be healthy,
may you be safe,
may you have peace.
There are many variations of this prayer, so feel free to make up your own words.
