Infections and fevers are the common problems seen in each and every child. Don’t panic if your baby gets sick. Identify the situation when to seek medical care for your child.
Fever is often a sign of infection and is the major symptom observed in children. You need to consult a pediatrician if your child’s body temperature is relatively high.
Viral infections of the respiratory system are the major cause for fever in infants.
Antibiotics do not treat this infection, rather they increase the drug reaction in children which may lead to other potential problems.

Dehydration: Infants often get dehydrated due to diarrhea and vomiting. It may also result from lack of drinking water. Common signs to identify dehydration include dry mouth, sunken eyes, irritability etc.
Fussiness may be a sign of illness. If your child is crying continuously and you are unable to console him or her then immediately seek doctor’s advice.
